We are happy to announce that as of 2020-01-14 the Gothenburg based investment company JCE became new majority shareholder in Systemite AB. This strengthens the foundation for Systemite’s continued expansion by getting a financially strong majority owner, as well as adding competencies to the owner group and board of directors. At the same time Systemite becomes part of a larger context in the JCE company portfolio. The mission for Systemite remains unchanged – to be a leading supplier of information management solutions to product developing organisations around the globe, and we are excited about continuing to execute our plan in this new context.

JCE acquires Systemite AB – creator and owner of SystemWeaver

The founders will remain as minority owners and will continue to be active in the company. Systemite AB, founded in 2000 and based in Gothenburg Sweden, has since inception had an early understanding of what the future of product development would look like, i.e. comprehending the core needs; collaboration, adaptability and scalability, in order to manage the high complexity of development information.
“Systemite AB has a great track record since the start and it is clear that their software will be critical for organization wanting to keep control in ever more complex product development. With their capabilities, bridging traditional ALM, PLM and MBSE systems they have unique position on the market. The ambition is now to continue to grow the business in Europe and rest of the world together with the founders and existing management team”, says Carl Backman, CEO of JCE.
“With JCE as our new majority owner we see a bright future. Continuing our track record of building world class product, and at the same time getting access to a larger network of specialists and industry experts. These will be important factors in how we build our organization and bring our product SystemWeaver into the future”, says Åsa Pahne, CEO of Systemite AB.
